Palm Hills Developments Celebrates its 20-Year Anniversary as the Leading Pioneer and Trend Setter in Egypt’s Real Estate Market
The pioneer of real estate in Egypt, Palm Hills Developments, celebrated its 20-Year Anniversary with an intimate event outlining the organization’s major milestones, on October 9thin the Palm Hills Club. The event hosted Palm Hills’ employees and brokers, as well as the company’s Chairman and CEO, Mr. Yasseen Mansour. The event celebrated the company’s greatest successes and achievements throughout the past 20 years.
“I remember when we first came here 20 years ago, there was nothing but a desert atop a hill, and we’d ride up here with our 4×4’s and only dream to one day succeed in building a livable community. We stand here today, and I am so proud to say that not only have we built Egypt’s finest and greatest community here, but we’ve also succeeded in building 29 of the most innovative, sustainable, and trusted residential, corporate, and hospitalityprojects spanning across Cairo West, Cairo East, Alexandria, the North Coast, and the Red Sea,” commented Mr. Yasseen Mansour.
The empire of Palm Hills Developments started with the launch of Palm Hills October, followed by its growth intoPalm Hills October Extensionand Palm Hills Bamboo. An expansion into theEastern grounds of Cairo then ensued with the launch of Palm HillsKatameya. Although at this point the developer was renowned for its niche, high-end offerings/products, it was important to branch out and cater to all types of people with different needs, budgets, and family sizes. This is where the launches of projects that cater to a younger generation came in, withthe gradual introduction of The Village, Village Gate, Village Gardens, and Village Avenueon the East side, and Palm Parks and Casain the West.
The developer giant did not stop there, however, with its expansions into the Mediterranean and Red Seas, introducing Hacienda Bay, Hacienda White, and Tawaya. Shortly after,Palm Hills New Cairo, Capital Gardens, and the last expansion of Palm Hills October, The Crown, were also launched to join their Cairo East& West predecessors.
In 2018, the developer elevated its game and challenged its own boundaries, with the announcement of its pioneering mega-project, Badya, The Creative City, in 6th of October. This marked Palm Hills Developments’grandest, first-of-its-kind project to-date, with Badya being a fully-integrated, 3,000 acreSmart City. Later that same year, another break-through project was launched with the first Palm Hills flagship outside of Cairo, and in Egypt’s second capital, Palm Hills Alexandria. This launch promised to bring back the old charm of Alexandria, while replenishing and elevating the quality of living in the historical city.
Following Palm Hills Developments’ continued leadership in residential real estate, the developertook a step further by deciding to offer itscommunities a more integrated life, with its current and pendinglaunches of 14 commercial mega-projects. Hale Town, a first-of-its-kind wellness and medical hub, and Golf Central, Palm Hill’s first office spaces (both located in the heart of Palm Hills October) were amongst the first commercial offerings to launch this year.
But all of that was not enough for the developer giant, as itstrived to come full circle, and once more proved to be the trend setters of the Egyptian real estate market by expanding its hospitality portfolio and launching thevery first boutique hotels in the North Coast,Mazeej and Le Sidi, in Hacienda White and Hacienda Bay, respectively. Both hotels offer local new concepts and have succeeded at supporting the government’s ultimate goal of expanding tourism in the North Coast.
Though Palm Hills Developments has become synonymous with providing the Egyptian market with luxury and sophistication, one of itsmain objectives since day onehas been to give back to the community. This was achieved over the years by the continuous provision of much-needed improvements to the infrastructure and facilities of outlying areas within the country. These CSR initiatives have seen Palm Hills Developments donate for the construction, refurbishment, and establishment of villages, schools, medical facilities, agricultural properties, youth centers, educational centers, and income projects in places such as; El Menya, BaniSueif, and Souhag.
Furthermore, internationally recognized for its substantial achievements in real estate and architecture, Palm Hills Developments has received numerous awards that further cement its legacy. EuroMoney Real Estate Awards has recognized the company as Best Residential Developer in Egypt 2013. Cityscape has granted Palm Hills Developments five awards in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2018, Amwal Al Ghad Magazine awarded Palm Hills Developments with the “Top100 Companies Annual Award”. Furthermore, the region’s first Creative City, Badya was not only distinguished with the BT100 Awards for “Exceptional Innovation Project” but was also given the “Best of the Best Iconic Award” by the German Design Council for its brilliant masterplan.
Palm Hills Developments’ achievements are numerous and today’s celebration of 20 years is definitely a well-deserved milestone in the developer’s history. “I would like to personally thank our 500,000 direct and indirect employees on their continuous efforts in maintaining the company’s status of being a national real estate leader, and our 300,000 current and future residents for believing in us and helping us constitute Egypt’s finest community. Congratulations to the entire Palm Hills Family on this very special milestone,”concluded Mr. Mansour.
