GLC Paints launched an initiative aimed at compensating their painters being affected by the Corona virus, by giving them 500 EGP for each one as a grant through Fawry 141k outlets all over Egypt.
The move by GLC Paints is part of its social responsibility towards its painters, in response to government and social calls for private sector companies to support the affected labor from the pandemic virus.
GLC Paints stressed on how easy and simple the process is – because of the widespread network of Fawry outlets all over the republic- where painters will receive sms on their mobile phones to go to the nearest Fawry outlet to redeem the cash voucher and take the money (500 EGP).
For his part, Ahmed Nader “Commercial Director of Fawry” emphasized the importance of new GLC initiative to compensate affected labor on the one hand and to maximize the return of digital technology on the other hand, where Fawry will do its part to deliver grants to the company’s painters.
Nader added: “The trend towards financial inclusion and digital technology is the best option today, especially in light of the current circumstances that require taking preventive measures and safer means for financial transactions and prevent crowding.”
